Some of the country’s citizens were stranded on their island of Serra Island on Friday, but there has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the earthquake, said Manish Mehta, spokesman for Indonesia’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (DRAMA).

The Urawa district government in eastern Aceh, which was hit hardest by the quake, tweeted that its roads are mostly in repair and electricity and water supply are coming back.

But some reports pointed to a threat to civilians, saying the town of Ulu at the southernmost tip of the country’s Aceh province may be on fire after weeks of poor rainfall that had forced villagers to dig up fields.

Pasit Picha, the governor of the provincial capital Banda Aceh, said on Friday evening that a quake was causing damage to his town but it was impossible to say precisely who was to blame.

«We must be careful. Many of수원안마 the houses in our district where we live are badly damaged, we were worried about the loss of life if a big quake hit the area,» he said.

Residents of southern Kota Kinabalu, another provincial capital hit by the tremor, reported that water had여수출장샵 begun to come out of several holes in houses but there was no immediate indication of a fault.

«We’re trying to recover the water that has come out, that’s how we’re rebuilding,» Picha told Reuters.

Residents in the central Kalimantan province, also struck by the tremor, said authorities were taking «unprecedented» measures to clear mud from the roads around their local communities.

Turbulent weather is set to continue in Indonesia for the next eight days as a severe monsoon rains the country’s two big islands of Sumatra and Borneo. More rain in these regions will boost monsoon surges to dangerous levels and create major dangers in northern and central Indonesia.

As of late Saturday, authorities had recovered more than 250,000 cubic metres of mud from the villages of Jindo and Lai-neng on the island of Sumatra, the most recent data showed.

A priest has been jailed for 33 years after being convicted of abusing two teenage boys.

The Rev Michael Collins, 64, of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Dundalk, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to two counts of sexual assault and one of indecent assault in 2006 and 2007.

One of those victims was a nine-yea카지노r-old boy who was abused by Collins.

The second victim was a girl aged between 15-17 when the abuse was committed.

Collins was jailed for 33 years and one day on Wednesday. His sentence includes 12 years for each count of indecent assault.

The priest was already serving a seven-year term for a similar offence from 2005 when he first entered the Archdiocese of Dublin’s youth services programme. He was not the subject of a previous investigation into sexual abuse allegations.

Judge Ola Ford said Collins was extremely dangerous to the community because of his past «as he is more adept at exploiting vulnerable young people».

Judge Ford gave Collins a four-year sentence as part of a deal which saw him released for good behaviour and had his licence revoked for two years and an 18-month period after he was sent to prison.

Collins was arrested in February 2006 and pleaded guilty on February 17 2007 to 11 charges of indecent assault, three of indecency with a child and two of indecent assault by penetration.

Judge Ford said there were some parallels between the circumstances at the time the abuse happened and Collins’s current behaviour, but stresse여수출장안마d there was also an important difference between the abuse that took place when the young man was a priest in 2007 and that incident when the boy was a boy in 2006.

She imposed a 12-year sentence for that incident because of the seriousness o
